Fusion Labs Announces “PROFFER” Online Web Modules

Demand from Non-Profit organizations for online applications that fully integrate with their grants solution has been achieved with these two new modules:

Dallas, TX, April 13, 2009 – Online Proposal and Scholarship applications, impact analysis and review processes are now fully integrated with Fusion Labs’ GrantedGE and Blackbaud’s Raiser’s Edge and NetCommunity clients.

Proposals: There are several functions available with the Proposal module:

·                     Define & Create Application Form

·                     Save & Submit Form

·                     Interface Application Data Into GrantedGE

Proffer – Proposals allows the user to easily define the application form and generate web pages to display the form to the applicant.  The applicant logs in to complete the form, in one or multiple sessions, and submits the information to the foundation, including any required attachments.  The applicant is notified by email that the form has been received and can login to review the status of the application as it progresses through the GrantedGE grants management system.

Scholarship: There are several functions available with the Scholarship module:

·                     Define & Create Application Form

·                     Save & Submit Form

·                     Interface Application Data Into GrantedGE

Proffer – Scholarships allows the user to easily define forms for specific scholarships and generate web pages to display these forms to the student applicant.  The applicant logs in to complete the form, in one or multiple sessions, and uses the ‘matching’ tool to select the correct scholarship(s) to apply for.  The student submits the information to the foundation, including required attachments, and is notified by email that the form has been received. A student can login to review the status of the scholarship as it progresses through the GrantedGE grants management system.

Review & Evaluate:  There are several functions available with the Review & Evaluate module:

·                     Define Ratings and Weightings

·                     Display Application ‘Dockets’

·                     Review and Score Applications

Proffer – Review & Evaluate allows the user easily define a scoring mechanism for each application form (proposal / scholarship).  The scoring method provides a weighting for each page / section/ field on the form and a range of scorings.  The scorer is linked to a ‘docket’ package of applications to score and can review and rank all application information.  The rankings for each scorer, as well as any recommended grant amounts, are stored and can be tallied to provide a set of committee rankings and approved amounts.

Impact Analysis:  There are several functions available with the Impact Analysis module:

·                     Define Project / Grant Outcomes

·                     Define Outcome Ratings and Weightings

·                     Review and Score Outcomes

Proffer – Impact Analysis allows the user easily define project / grant outcome categories, with appropriate evaluation techniques.  When submitting an application, the applicant selects appropriate outcome categories and provides proposed results.  At the end of the project, the proposed outcome results are measured and rated, to provide the foundation with an overall sense of did the grant meet expectations.  Both the applicant and the proposed project can be measured objectively, which may impact future granting opportunities.
