Special Interest Group (SIG)

The GrantedGE application was developed based on the requirements of one specific foundation client. Although these requirements formed the basis of the initial version of GrantedGE, Fusion Labs formed a Special Interest Group (SIG), consisting of a wide-range of non-profits and non-profit specialists from finance, donor-relations and grants management to define, design and develop a comprehensive set of grant management requirements that would meet the needs of all non-profit organizations.

This process is ongoing and the SIG continues to provide significant input into the design, development and testing of the GrantedGE software package.  While GrantedGE handles a majority of grant operations required for non-profit organization, Fusion Labs continues to expand and enhance the functionality according to the requirements established by the SIG and according to a defined deliverable schedule.

At over 100 members strong, the SIG is a vital part in providing Fusion Labs with the necessary requirements for ensuring that the GrantedGE software continues to lead the industry.  The SIG continues to grow and evolve.  The list of organizations that have participated in the SIG includes, but is not limited to, the following:

Baltimore Community Foundation ** California Community Foundation–Los Angeles ** Central Alabama Community Foundation ** Central New York Community Foundation ** Coastal Community Foundation ** Communities Foundation of Texas ** Community Foundation for Greater Buffalo ** Community Foundation for Southeast Michigan ** Community Foundation for the Fox Valley Region, Inc. ** Community Foundation of Central Georgia ** Community Foundation of Greater Greensboro ** Community Foundation of Henderson County ** Community Foundation of Northern Illinois ** Dade Community Foundation ** Foundation for the Carolinas ** Greater Houston Community Foundation ** Hawaii Community Foundation ** Jewish Community Foundation ** Liberty Hill Foundation ** Madison Community Foundation ** Maine Community Foundation ** Minnesota Cmmunity Foundation ** New Hampshire Charitable Foundation ** Northern Georgia Community Foundation ** Presbyterian Church (USA) ** Rockefeller Philanthropic Advisors ** San Antonio Area Foundation ** San Diego Community Foundation ** Santa Barbara Community Foundation ** Santa Fe Community Foundation ** Silicon Valley Community Foundation ** The Cleveland Foundation ** The Columbus Foundation ** The Community Foundation in Jacksonville ** The Community Foundation of Louisville ** The Denver Foundation ** The Florida Bar Foundation ** The Greater Cedar Rapids Community Foundation ** The Greater Cincinnati Foundatio ** The Minneapolis Foundation ** The New York Community Trust ** The Putnam County Community Foundation ** The Saint Paul Foundation ** The San Diego Foundation ** The Seattle Foundation ** The Tree Fund ** The Winston-Salem Foundation ** Tulsa Community Foundation ** UNCF

Fusion Labs continues to work with specific foundations to add in functionality, and it is this strategy (viral development) that will allow Fusion Labs to tailor the product to meet the needs of all non-profit organizations.  The mantra of "all for one and one for all" is at the heart of the Special Interest Group (SIG) concept.  That is, Fusion Labs will work with foundations, build customizations based on their input, and distribute the resulting functions to all the clients.
